Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor residents' condition and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and dignity
- Support mealtime and personal hygiene in a respectful, person-centered way
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with team members
- Contribute to a positive atmosphere by building rapport with residents and families
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — VT or NH license alignment indicated
- Availability to work 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM shifts and both weekend days when scheduled
- Local only: must have reliable personal transportation and local housing
- Comfortable working in a long-term care/rehabilitation setting and collaborating with a care team
Education
- State-approved LNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong person-centered care skills and experience with ADLs
- Good communication and teamwork to coordinate resident care
- Basic observation skills to notice changes in condition and escalate appropriately
- Safe patient handling and infection prevention practices
- Time management to support efficient shift flow and reliable documentation
