Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate overnight nursing care to residents
- Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout the night
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Document clinical findings and shift activities in medical records
- Communicate changes in patient status to the daytime care team
- Maintain a safe, calm environment and support resident needs overnight
Qualifications
- Active RN license (RN preferred) — LPN candidates will be considered
- Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts
- Local candidates only (per job posting)
- Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and observational skills for night coverage
- Clear communication and teamwork across shifts
- Accurate clinical documentation and charting
- Ability to prioritize and respond during overnight events
