Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status accurately
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention for patients
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent care
• Maintain a clean, respectful, and comfortable environment for patients
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to ensure understanding and comfort

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Active registration on the New Mexico CNA registry or ability to register prior to start
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts on weekends
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA program and high school diploma or equivalent

• Basic patient care and activities of daily living
• Taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Infection control and safe hygiene practices
• Patient transfer and mobility assistance
• Clear documentation and basic charting skills
• Teamwork, reliability, and compassionate bedside manner
