Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing and feeding
- Assist with transfers, mobility and safe positioning
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and timely in resident charts
- Support a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Ability and willingness to work 12-hour night shifts on the scheduled days
- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care for residents
Education
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with activities of daily living and resident mobility
- Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Familiarity with infection prevention and safe patient handling
- Strong communication and empathetic interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and document care clearly
