Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a licensed nursing assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor patients and report any changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
- Document care accurately and timely to keep the team informed and residents safe
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) required
- Local candidates preferred due to LOCAL ONLY requirement
- Ability to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
- Comfortable with resident-focused care and teamwork in a long-term care setting
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding and required screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
- Good communication and teamwork skills to partner with nursing staff
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
- Basic infection control and safety practices
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to prioritize resident dignity
