Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Perform patient transfers and mobility assistance safely and respectfully
- Monitor and document vital signs, behavior changes, and care activities accurately
- Support the nursing team with treatments, observations, and timely communication
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
- Engage with residents and families to promote dignity, comfort, and a positive experience
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Eligible to work in New Mexico for the duration of the assignment
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred but welcome at all levels
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to resident-centered care
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Strong documentation and communication abilities
- Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
- Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate with clinical teams
