Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Perform timely assessments and document changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge planning
• Contribute to a positive, professional unit culture and support colleagues

Qualifications

• Current, active RN or LPN license (eligible to practice in New Mexico)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Previous clinical experience in acute care or skilled nursing preferred
• Ability to pass facility credentialing and background checks
• Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to a travel assignment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN or RN program as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Effective communication with patients, families and the care team
• Safe infection control and patient safety practices
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems and standard clinical tools
