Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient condition, interpreting findings to guide care
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members for seamless patient experience
- Document patient care and communicate changes clearly in the medical record
- Provide patient and family education with compassion and clarity
- Respond to patient needs promptly and escalate concerns when appropriate
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN preferred) — ability to hold/state licensure in Maine required
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Relevant clinical experience preferred; per diem clinicians welcome
- Ability to pass standard background and health screenings as required by facility
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and triage skills
- Medication administration and IV/infusion basics
- Electronic medical record documentation
- Patient education and discharge planning
- Team collaboration and clear handoff communication
