Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients at the facility
• Assess patient condition and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Document patient status, interventions, and responses in the health record
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety at all times

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license (eligible to practice in Maine or compact-state privileges where applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Valid immunizations and ability to pass required background and health screenings
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced facility environment and collaborating with a team
• Open to both experienced RNs and travel nurses looking for a 14-week assignment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred)
• LPN candidates: completion of an accredited practical nursing program (if applying as LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and IV nursing competence
• Proficient documentation and electronic medical record usage
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and ability to prioritize multiple patients
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
