Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs
• Document care clearly and timely in the patient record
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the care team to implement care plans
• Respond promptly to patient needs and clinical changes
• Educate patients and families about care, medications, and follow-up

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required per facility policy
• Comfortable administering medications and performing routine nursing procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous LPN experience in acute or long-term care settings preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN/LVN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Basic patient assessment and monitoring
• Wound care and IV/medication administration familiarity
• Electronic health record (EHR) charting skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
• Compassionate patient- and family-centered communication
