Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X‑ray examinations on operating room (OR) and emergency department (ED) patients with accuracy and compassion
• Coordinate with surgical and ED teams to ensure imaging supports timely clinical decisions
• Prepare and position patients safely for imaging exams, maintaining dignity and comfort
• Operate and troubleshoot CT and X‑ray equipment while following radiation safety protocols
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with facility policies
• Assist with patient transfers and safe handling, including lifting/pushing up to 50 lbs when needed
• Participate in unit-based teamwork to maintain smooth workflow during rotating shifts and weekends

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) (CT) certification required (active AART/ARRT CT certification as stated)
• Ohio Department of Health (ODH) license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association only
• One year of radiology/CT experience preferred
• Operating Room (OR) imaging experience preferred
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and safely push/pull up to 50 lbs

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in CT scanning and general X‑ray imaging
• Experience with OR and ED imaging workflows and protocols
• Strong patient handling and positioning skills
• Familiarity with radiation safety practices and documentation
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, rotating shift environments
• Good communication skills to collaborate with surgeons, ED staff, and nurses
