Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to help patients regain mobility and independence
- Assist with patient assessments and document progress clearly and timely
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of the PT
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehab staff to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor and report changes in patient status and participate in care planning
- Maintain equipment, follow safety protocols, and ensure a clean treatment environment
Qualifications
- Class: PTA / Experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Active or eligible to obtain a Maryland PTA license (state licensure required for practice)
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Clinical experience in outpatient or rehab settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work all scheduled days as listed and manage a varied caseload
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (Associate degree or diploma)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, gait training, and mobility techniques
- Skilled in patient assessment, treatment documentation, and goal setting
- Comfortable with assistive devices and adaptive equipment
- Able to follow care plans and adapt interventions based on patient response
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Familiarity with rehab modalities, safety protocols, and infection control
