Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition with compassion and attention to detail
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform timely documentation and maintain clear communication in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate excellent patient care
• Provide education and support to patients and families during their stay
• Respond to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Participate in unit-based initiatives to improve quality and patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license for New Mexico or compact RN license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred, depending on unit
• Current immunizations and any required health screenings
• Comfortable working overnight/12+ hour shifts and in fast-paced clinical settings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and timely documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy inpatient environment
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Basic telemetry and monitoring experience a plus
