Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients, keeping dignity and comfort front and center
• Administer medications and treatments per established protocols and document with precision
• Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the care team
• Perform routine assessments, record vital signs, and follow up on care plans
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure excellent outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care procedures and discharge instructions in a clear and caring way
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure (state-appropriate) in good standing — you must be a Licensed Practical Nurse
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Clinical experience as an LPN preferred; strong bedside skills and good judgement required
• Ability to work nights and adapt to per diem scheduling needs
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screening

Education

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Active LPN license required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medication administration and nursing procedures
• Comfortable with patient assessment, wound care basics, and monitoring vital signs
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic charting
• Good communication and teamwork — you’ll coordinate closely with other care providers
• Ability to manage time effectively during a busy overnight shift
