Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate patient care in the CVN (cardiovascular) care area with attention to detail
- Assess and monitor patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition quickly
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute patient-centered care plans
- Perform telemetry and cardiac monitoring, intervene per unit protocols, and escalate concerns when needed
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans to support recovery
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Serve as a reliable team player who mentors peers and contributes to a positive unit culture
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (PA licensure expected; out-of-state travel RNs welcome if able to obtain PA authorization)
- Experience or interest in CVN/cardiovascular nursing or acute care settings
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
- Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced unit
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; dependable and professional
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
- Medication administration and IV therapy competence
- Accurate patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Clear, concise documentation and charting habits
- Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and escalating concerns appropriately
- Time management, organization, and the ability to handle multiple priorities
