Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends; one 12-hour call shift required per pay period
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care for patients and families
- Manage newborn and nursery care including routine assessments and documentation
- Perform triage for incoming patients and prioritize care based on acuity
- Conduct and interpret basic fetal monitoring to support safe delivery
- Participate in stabilization and high-risk neonatal care when needed
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives and the interdisciplinary team to deliver family centered care
- Support GYN surgical care at the site when required and assist with safe patient transitions
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
- AHA ACLS required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
- Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required
- Experience in triage, labor and delivery, postpartum and nursery required
- STABLE certification preferred
- Previous experience in stabilization of the high-risk neonate preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum nursing
- Comfortable with newborn care and nursery workflows
- Proficient in basic fetal monitoring techniques
- Experienced in triage and rapid patient assessment
- Capable of neonatal resuscitation and high-risk stabilization procedures
- Familiar with family centered care principles and clear patient communication
- Able to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
