Shift Type: Night, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; schedule includes weekdays and some weekends (minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for adult MedSurg and Telemetry patients
- Safely manage and monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry, intervening and escalating when needed
- Perform and manage IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central/PICC line care
- Float between units of equivalent or lower acuity with flexibility and professionalism
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams — respiratory, PT, pharmacy, social work and rapid response
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and communicate changes in patient condition clearly
- Support emergency response and rapid response/code teams when called upon
Qualifications
- Active RN license (state licensure required)
- Minimum 2 years of MedSurgical nursing experience
- Current BCLS (required); ACLS preferred
- Proficient in IV start/therapy and telemetry/cardiac monitoring
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record
- Travel nursing experience required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Comfort managing patient ratios of approximately 1:4-5
Knowledge & Skills
- MedSurgical nursing and Telemetry monitoring expertise
- IV therapy, PICC/central line care, and phlebotomy skills
- Cardiac monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Blood product administration and heparin/cardiac drip protocols (no titration)
- Respiratory support knowledge: BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, chest tube care, tracheostomy care
- Familiarity with isolation precautions/PPE and wound care/Wound VAC
- Ability to work in teaching and trauma-level environments (preferred)
- Comfort using EPIC for charting and care coordination
