Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, primarily Monday-Friday with occasional weekends (Day)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert peri-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Prepare the Cath Lab and equipment, maintain sterile technique, and ensure safety standards are met
- Monitor and assess patient hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, radiology and diagnostic teams to facilitate efficient, high-quality patient care
- Document patient status, interventions and procedure details accurately and promptly
- Educate patients and families about procedures, post-procedure expectations and discharge instructions
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and uphold departmental policies and CAP requirements
Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN licensure required upon submission
- Healthcare Provider BLS required (AHA)
- AHA ACLS required
- One (1) year of Cath Lab/Angio experience or equivalent training preferred
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to CAP moderate complexity testing rules
- Strong teamwork, communication and patient advocacy skills
Education
- Active RN licensure in Oregon (required)
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (required by CAP)
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with cardiac catheterization and Cath Lab procedures
- Familiarity with Cath Lab/Angio equipment, sterile field setup and fluoroscopy workflows
- Ability to monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize arrhythmias and intervene appropriately
- Proficiency in peri-procedural patient assessment and documentation
- Comfort working in an imaging-driven diagnostic environment alongside interventional radiology teams
