Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Day shift (8 hour days, 40 hours/week)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic interventions including exercise therapy, massage, gait training and balance training under PT direction
- Provide hands-on patient care that helps people regain mobility and independence
- Document patient progress clearly and accurately after each treatment
- Report treatment results and observations to the supervising physical therapist in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the care team to adjust patient plans and optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and families on safe mobility techniques and home exercise programs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years PTA experience (required)
- Active Texas license or Compact license (required)
- Demonstrated experience with exercise therapy, gait and balance training, and therapeutic interventions
- Strong documentation skills and comfort reporting results to supervising physical therapists
- Compassionate communicator who works well with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (typical requirement)
Knowledge & Skills
- Exercise therapy techniques and progression
- Massage and manual therapy basics
- Gait training methods and assistive device use
- Balance training and fall prevention strategies
- Accurate patient progress documentation and reporting
- Team communication and following PT-directed plans of care
