Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, provide and evaluate nursing care using critical thinking and the nursing process to make a real difference in patients' outcomes
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to changes in rhythm or condition
• Provide expert nursing judgment and make independent clinical decisions in a small, fast-paced critical access hospital
• Document nursing care accurately and thoroughly to support continuity and quality of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Support patients across the lifespan—from newborns to geriatrics—with compassion and professionalism
• Serve as a reliable team player who can also work independently and ‘hit the ground running’ in a rural setting
• Help maintain a safe, positive environment that promotes patient satisfaction and community health

Qualifications

• 2+ years combined experience in ICU, PCU, or Med/Surg nursing (required)
• 2+ years Emergency Department (ED) experience (required)
• Telemetry experience is required
• Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) certifications (must be uploaded with application; facility will not pend)
• New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license in-hand at submission (facility will not pend)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
• Comfortable working independently in a rural/small facility and adaptable to flexible scheduling
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude

• Telemetry/cardiac monitoring and recognition of arrhythmias
