Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, provide and evaluate nursing care using critical thinking and the nursing process to make a real difference in patients' outcomes
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to changes in rhythm or condition
- Provide expert nursing judgment and make independent clinical decisions in a small, fast-paced critical access hospital
- Document nursing care accurately and thoroughly to support continuity and quality of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Support patients across the lifespan—from newborns to geriatrics—with compassion and professionalism
- Serve as a reliable team player who can also work independently and ‘hit the ground running’ in a rural setting
- Help maintain a safe, positive environment that promotes patient satisfaction and community health
Qualifications
- 2+ years combined experience in ICU, PCU, or Med/Surg nursing (required)
- 2+ years Emergency Department (ED) experience (required)
- Telemetry experience is required
- Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) certifications (must be uploaded with application; facility will not pend)
- New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license in-hand at submission (facility will not pend)
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
- Comfortable working independently in a rural/small facility and adaptable to flexible scheduling
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude

- Critical thinking and sound nursing judgment
- Inpatient nursing workflows and priorities
- Telemetry/cardiac monitoring and recognition of arrhythmias
- Med/Surg nursing skills and ED experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Effective communication and supervisory coordination
