Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) studies and capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Assess patients across the lifespan and adapt imaging approaches to meet age-specific needs
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and respond to nonverbal cues and psychosocial needs
• Follow established technical standards and protocols to ensure accurate and consistent results
• Collaborate with the EKG/EEG/ECHO team, cardiology, and other care providers to support patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation, image storage, and study logs while adhering to department time blocks
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities to advance practice and patient care

Qualifications

• RDCS required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Current New Hampshire state license required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience performing TTE studies
• Resume required; professional references preferred
• Comfortable working with patients of all ages and knowledgeable about growth and development across the lifespan

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skills in echocardiography, including TTE and cardiac ultrasound
• Strong patient assessment and communication skills
• Understanding of age-specific therapeutic modification and lifespan development
• Ability to produce diagnostic-quality ultrasound images and troubleshoot equipment
• Familiarity with clinical workflows in a hospital regional referral center
• Team-oriented approach and commitment to patient safety and quality
