Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ mobility, strength, balance and functional needs to create personalized care plans
• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve independence and quality of life
• Document patient progress clearly and professionally in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and rehab team members to coordinate holistic care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe functional strategies
• Measure outcomes and adjust treatment plans to maximize patient progress
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture that prioritizes patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in Missouri or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills with a patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Prior outpatient, inpatient or rehab experience is a plus; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physical Therapy acceptable with appropriate licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in mobility assessment, therapeutic exercise and manual techniques
• Comfortable with creating and modifying individualized treatment plans
• Familiarity with clinical documentation and electronic health record systems
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers in clear, empathetic terms
• Good time management and caseload prioritization skills
• Teamwork mindset and ability to collaborate with diverse clinical staff
