Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM; Friday, 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM; occasional Saturday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM — Evenings/Nights with occasional daytime weekend coverage

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify needs, preferences, and next steps
- Complete timely clinical documentation (within 48 hours) to keep care moving
- Use motivational interviewing to engage clients and clarify readiness for change
- Develop person-centered treatment plans and safety plans as needed
- Coordinate referrals for psychological testing, groups, or longer-term services
- Provide clear information to clients and families about available services and supports
- Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Document face-to-face and phone contacts and respond to chart reviews and audits
- Support program productivity standards while maintaining high-quality care
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling (required)
- Full State of Michigan licensure (LMSW, LLP, or LPC) — full license only
- Minimum of 1 year post-master’s experience providing mental health treatment to adults and children with severe mental illness (required)
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (required)
- Must obtain QMHP, CMHP, and QIDP credentials within 120 days of hire
- CAADC credential or an active, approved MCBAP Certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire
- Active, clean state licensure maintained at all times (no disciplinary action)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available
Education
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and crisis intervention expertise
- Strong clinical documentation and case management skills
- Proficiency with motivational interviewing and person-centered planning
- Experience with Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment and substance use interventions
- Group facilitation and knowledge of referring for psychological testing
- Cultural competency, nonjudgmental approach, and strong therapeutic alliance skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Ability to meet productivity expectations while delivering compassionate care
