Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans that promote independence
- Provide therapy services focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Complete timely evaluations, progress notes, and discharge documentation in line with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, safety, and adaptive techniques to support long-term success
Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapist license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Skilled Nursing Facility or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (required)
