Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a licensed nursing assistant
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) to promote dignity
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Accurately document care given and vital signs following facility policies
• Support mobility and rehabilitation efforts in collaboration with nursing and therapy staff
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
• Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

• Valid LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant credential for VT (required)
• Ability to work 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shifts and commit to a 14-week travel assignment (Jan 6, 2026 - Apr 7, 2026)
• Every-other-weekend availability required
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility (required)
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to accept overtime when available

Education

• Completion of a state-approved LNA training program
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfort with basic resident care and assisting with ADLs
• Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation skills
• Understanding of infection control and resident safety principles
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate deviations to nursing staff
• Dependable time-management and teamwork skills in a fast-paced care setting
