Surgical Technologist - CVOR

Location: Silverdale, WA

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with varied start times; call required including weekends and nights.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain a sterile field during CVOR procedures
Assist surgeons with cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries
Operate Da Vinci XI robotic system for minimally invasive cases
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety
Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
Respond to call within 30 minutes for emergency cases

Qualifications

Active Washington State Surgical Technologist license
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Experience in CVOR or main OR setting
Ability to take call and respond within 30 minutes
Robotics experience preferred but willing to train

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instruments
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Experience with robotic surgical systems (Da Vinci XI)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
