Location: Centennial, Colorado

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts (3:00 PM - 3:00 AM), schedule released 4-6 weeks in advance, weekend and holiday rotation required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to diverse adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced float pool setting
Monitor and manage telemetry units, including titration of Heparin drips as needed
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) to support staffing needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different units and patient acuities, from general med-surg to specialty areas

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to float across multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius
Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Experience with heparin drip titration
Knowledge of diverse patient populations: cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, etc.
Strong communication and adaptability skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
