Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures
Operate Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs equipment
Ensure radiation safety protocols and proper use of badges
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals under guidelines
Position patients accurately and provide compassionate care
Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team for optimal outcomes

Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) certification required
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
PET experience required at start, but we can train on specific equipment
DOT certification preferred at start, required for extension within 90 days
Valid driver's license required for submittal (used for mileage verification)

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging and PET/CT technologies
Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Excellent patient interaction and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
