Location: Chandler, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to neuro telemetry patients, including post-surgical craniotomy, spine, and CVA patients
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs, responding to dysrhythmias promptly
Conduct thorough neurological assessments and document changes
Maintain sterile field during procedures and ensure infection control
Collaborate with charge nurses, clinical supervisors, and interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on recovery plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in neuro or telemetry (within the past 6 months)
Active and unrestricted Arizona RN license or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification required
Must pass dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer (2 attempts max)
COVID-19 vaccine required or approved medical/religious declination

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia management
Strong sterile technique skills
Expertise in neurological assessments and post-operative care
Ability to work in a fast-paced 28-bed unit with 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio
