Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with weekend and holiday rotations

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple units in a dynamic float pool
Float to various specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Ortho, and more within a 60-mile zone
Adapt quickly to different patient populations and unit protocols
Titrate heparin drips as needed and respond to changing patient conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support charge nurses when necessary

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
Prior neuro experience is highly preferred
Ability to float to multiple facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area)
Flexibility to work weekends (6-9 per 6-week schedule) and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Skilled in managing cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical patients
Comfortable with heparin titration and telemetry monitoring
Strong communication and adaptability for floating assignments
