Location: Redding, California

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with weekend rotation every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate patients to develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team for optimal patient outcomes
Document patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment

Qualifications

Active California Occupational Therapy license
BLS certification from American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
Open to first-time travelers
Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Expertise in rehabilitation modalities and adaptive equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Time management to handle a 10-hour shift caseload
Adaptability to a fast-paced acute care environment
