Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, self-schedule, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to oncology and trauma patients in a combined PCU/MedSurg unit
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for reactions, titrate drips as needed (insulin, cardizem)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Perform hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz) and ventilator management
Float to MedSurg and PCU units as needed to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

At least 1 year of RN experience in oncology and PCU
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC and Chemotherapy Certification required
Comfortable with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
Driver’s license to verify radius eligibility
No artificial nails in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in oncology nursing, chemotherapy administration
Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to self-schedule and adapt to floating
Charge nurse experience preferred (1 year minimum)
