Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Omaha, NE

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including PET/CT scans
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient reactions
- Operate Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs equipment
- Ensure radiation safety protocols and proper handling of radioactive materials
- Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification required
- NMT certification (Nuclear Medicine Technologist) required
- PET experience required
- DOT certification preferred but required within 90 days
- Valid driver's license required for verification of residence distance
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in Siemens PET/CT and E.CAM systems (training available)
- Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
