Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients with cardiopulmonary and neurological conditions
Interpret EKGs and manage telemetry monitoring for up to 26 beds
Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and interdisciplinary team for optimal outcomes
Care for patients with CVAs, pulmonary issues, and general telemetry needs
Utilize Airvo/High Flow therapy and other advanced respiratory support

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a telemetry or neuro unit (within past 6 months)
Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certification required
Must pass a Prophecy Dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts max) and a Sim Lab on first day
Ability to interpret EKGs and manage centralized telemetry

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Neuro care including CVA management
Pulmonary care and Airvo/High Flow therapy
Patient ratios of 1:3-4 with charge nurse support
Working knowledge of electronic health records
