Sonographer - General/OBGYN/Vascular

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable days (including weekends and holidays), 4x10-hour shifts, start time between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM, end time between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM, on-call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound exams
Assist with procedures including drains and biopsies
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnoses
Maintain imaging equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort
Document and manage patient records in EPIC and Fuji PACS

Qualifications

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required – General or OB/GYN
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) strongly preferred
BLS certification from AHA required
Proven experience with ultrasound procedures (drains, biopsies)
Must be willing to obtain a Rad Badge for the facility

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in general, OB/GYN, and vascular sonography
Proficient with Philips ultrasound equipment
Strong understanding of anatomy and pathology
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
