Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
- Apply principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental policies
- Ensure standards of nursing practice are met for each patient
- Utilize clinical databases and peripheral equipment as needed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality care
Qualifications
- 1 year of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
- Active Alaska RN license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current BLS certification
- BSN preferred
- Skilled in PC use, applicable software, and clinical databases
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in nursing care techniques
- Ability to use electronic health records and clinical systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of patient safety standards
