Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating; weekends required (6-9 per 6-week schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population across multiple units in Zone 3, including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Float throughout the zone within a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to different facility environments
Titrate heparin drips and manage patients with various titratable and set rate drips
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain flexibility in scheduling to fill gaps in the permanent staffing schedule

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
Active RN license in Colorado (or compact state eligible)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Prior neuro experience preferred but not required
Ability to float across facilities within a 60-mile radius

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in MS-Tele nursing care including cardiac monitoring, neuro checks, and post-surgical management
Experience with titrating heparin and managing common titratable drips
Strong adaptability and flexibility for floating across different units and facilities
Excellent communication skills for Just-In-Time assignments
