Location: Bryan, Texas

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with rotating weekend and holiday coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat a diverse patient population in an acute care setting
Perform initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants and rehab techs
Maintain thorough documentation using Meditech EMR
Provide coverage across Bryan and possibly College Station hospitals as needed

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas
Experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation preferred
Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 8-10 patients per day
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Willingness to work 2 full weekends per month and alternate holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care rehabilitation techniques
EMR proficiency (Meditech experience a plus)
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
Team collaboration and precepting abilities
