Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM), every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to PCU patients, including those with cardiac, vascular, stroke, and respiratory conditions
Titrate critical drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, and Cardizem with confidence
Monitor telemetry and interpret heart rhythms to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed to support your colleagues and patients
Contribute to an exceptional patient experience through responsive care and clear communication

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or a compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Competency in arterial line management
Valid driver's license and ability to meet the 50-mile radius rule
Willingness to float, work every other weekend, and cover at least 2 holidays
Flexibility and adaptability with a team-player attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
