Location: Phoenix, Arizona

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week, weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 8-week period, holidays as per rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to neuro telemetry patients with conditions like CVA, TBI, and spinal surgery
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate critical drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Insulin, Heparin)
Collaborate with a fast-paced team in a Level 1 Trauma center with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Perform bedside report and ensure seamless patient handoffs
Maintain sterile field during central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertions (SIMs lab pass/fail)

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro Telemetry or Telemetry experience
Level 1 Trauma experience required
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam and SIMs lab on day 1

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EKG interpretation and central telemetry monitoring
Experience titrating Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin drips
Comfortable with Cerner EMR and WOWs
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a high-turnover unit
