Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, self-scheduling, includes day/night rotation and every other weekend. Shift times typically 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a mixed PCU/Med-Surg unit
Monitor and manage hemodynamic drips, ventilators, and chemotherapy treatments
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to Med-Surg and PCU units as needed, ensuring consistent patient care
Maintain a positive attitude and teamwork-focused approach, supporting colleagues and patients

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or Med-Surg experience
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
EPIC experience preferred, but not required
First-time travelers welcome
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC EMR
Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Competent with Alaris IV pumps and Liko lift equipment
Ability to titrate drips like insulin and cardizem
