Location: Redding, California

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered occupational therapy in an acute care rehab setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain independence
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PTs, SLPs, and nursing staff
Document patient progress accurately using Cerner EMR
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises

Qualifications

Valid California Occupational Therapist license
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy specialty
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
Open to first-time travelers - we welcome you!
Proficiency with Cerner EMR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
Knowledge of rehab modalities and adaptive equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage a patient caseload efficiently
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
