Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Tacoma, Washington

Start Date: 06-13-2026

End Date: 09-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional weekends and holidays; limited on-call required.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures
Start IVs and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely
Operate advanced GE and Phillips imaging equipment
Document and manage patient data using EPIC and McKesson PACS
Collaborate with radiologists and cardiology ARNPs to ensure high-quality diagnostic results

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology
Active ARRT-N or NMTCB certification required
Current BLS certification
Valid Washington state nuclear medicine technologist license

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures
Skilled in EPIC and McKesson PACS systems
Hands-on experience with GE and Phillips equipment
Competent in IV start techniques
