Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and holidays; typically three 12-hour shifts per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) with confidence
Set up and manage BiPAP and ventilator support for patients
Deliver nebulizer treatments to improve breathing
Stand by during conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures
Assist with intubations alongside the medical team
Care for neonatal patients in a level 2 nursery, including bubble CPAP for infants 32 weeks and up
Cover inpatient units and provide support in the ED for pediatric patients

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license (required)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
RRT or CRT credential accepted
Proven NICU experience with level 2 nursery competence
Strong ventilator skills and comfort with PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ABG draws, BiPAP and ventilator setup, and nebulizer treatments
Skilled in conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Experience assisting intubations
Knowledge of bubble CPAP for neonates 32 weeks and older
Ability to work independently as part of a night shift team with lead therapist support
