Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: On-call rotation: Mon-Fri 5:00 PM-6:30 AM, Sat-Sun 6:30 AM-6:30 AM; regular day shifts as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI examinations using Siemens Avanto 1.5 equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Precept and train new technologists as needed

Qualifications

Current Texas state license as an MRI Technologist
ARRT certification in MRI required
BLS certification required
Experience with Siemens Avanto 1.5 highly preferred
Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and contraindications
Proficiency in MRI physics and cross-sectional anatomy
Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
