Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized care for critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
Monitor and manage ventilators, central lines, and complex patient needs
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists and midlevels
Perform skills such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes in SIMs Lab
Float to mother-baby or labor care as needed for baby-only assignments
Maintain sterile field and infection control standards

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of NICU experience, preferably Level 4
Active RN license and BLS/ NRP certifications
Cardiac STABLE certification preferred
Previous travel experience preferred but not required
Must be comfortable with Cerner EMR and Phillips telemetry
Willingness to complete a pass/fail SIMs Lab on day one

Knowledge & Skills

Expert in neonatal assessment and critical care interventions
Proficient with Cerner electronic medical records
Comfortable with Phillips telemetry monitoring
Strong sterile technique and infection control practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced Level 4 NICU environment
