Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced PCU/Oncology/MedSurg unit
Monitor and titrate drips such as heparin, cardizem, and insulin
Administer chemotherapy and manage oncology patients from diagnosis through remission
Collaborate with a supportive team including charge nurses, nursing assistants, and case managers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed, maintaining the same level of care

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in PCU, Oncology, or MedSurg
Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
First-time travelers welcome
Must pass an open-book exam during orientation (90% required to pass)
Driver's license required to verify 50-mile radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC EMR
ACLS and BLS certification required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred; chemotherapy certification also valued
Experience with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline), and lift equipment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
