Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours), includes weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory disorders
Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
Monitor and manage mechanical ventilators for critical care patients
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and treatment plans
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate patient records and equipment

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Utah
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of respiratory therapy principles and techniques
Proficiency with mechanical ventilation and respiratory equipment
Excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills
Team collaboration and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
