Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population, including 85% oncology and 15% medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions, utilizing chemo certification (preferred)
• Perform comprehensive assessments, including telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
• Execute critical nursing skills such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes while maintaining sterile field
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, pharmacists, and respiratory therapists
• Float to other MedSurg/Tele units as needed to support hospital operations

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona (or compact state)
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Chemo certification is highly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in oncology or telemetry nursing
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and central line care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of oncology nursing practices and chemotherapy administration
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
• Skill in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to floating assignments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
