Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the abdomen, pelvis, breast, thyroid, and vascular system (including carotid, venous, and arterial studies)
• Operate GE and Philips ultrasound equipment with precision, adjusting settings for optimal image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
• Maintain thorough documentation in Epic and PACS (Synapse) systems
• Provide compassionate care to patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns

Qualifications

• Active ARDMS certification (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT) – RVT preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• At least 1-2 years of strong vascular ultrasound experience required
• Experience with GE and Philips ultrasound systems preferred
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, breast, and small parts ultrasound
• Proficiency with PACS (Synapse) and Epic EMR
• Understanding of sterile technique and infection control
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
